ocean. Vietnam is crisscrossed by thousands of streams and rivers.
There is a river discharging every 20 kilometers along Vietnam's
coastline. The waterways are a very convenient means of transport with
major rivers like the Red River in the north and the Mekong River in
the south.
Intinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Our tour guide will meet you at airport then transfer to hotel for check - in. Half day city tour visit Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral with the passing Ben Thanh market. In the Evening enjoy welcome dinner at restaurant.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City– Mekong Delta (B, L)
Depart for Mekong Delta for a visit of the Floating Market and Countryside Tour. Boat cruise to the colorful floating market of Cai Be and then followed by a visit to some local factories that produce rice paper and coconut candy. Lunch is served at a fruit orchard before further cruise to discover beautiful landscapes. Overnight in Can Tho City.
Day 3: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
Cruise to the colorful Floating Market of Cai Rang and local villages in Can Tho, the heart land of Mekong Delta. Take lunch before going back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Hoian via Da Nang (B, L)
Take a morning flight to Da Nang airport, then transfer to Hoian for check in at hotel. After lunch, a walking tour through the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. In the late afternoon, enjoy beach at Cua Dai beach. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 5: Hoian – My Son – Hoian (B, L)
Take a private car to Cham ruins at My Son. On the way back, you will be dropped off at Cao Lau Ferry Boat to get on a boat back to Hoi an - en-route visit Thanh Ha Pottery village & Kim Bong Carpentry village. Return to Hoi an in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 6: Hoian – Hue (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to Hue in the morning with a visit to Cham museum on the way. Continue to Hue through Hai Van pass. Arrival Hue by noon and have lunch at local restaurant. Take a short rest before take a visit to the Imperial Citadel of Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue (B, L)
Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of the past emperors, and with Orient style – those tombs almost located near the bank of Hue’s river – Perfume river. Take a drive to visit King Minh Mang tomb and King Tu Duc’s tomb. You will embark on the Dragon boat along Perfume river, while cruising enjoy Royal music - World Intangible Heritage, and admire sunset on boat. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Hanoi (B)
In the Morning, take a short flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon you will have a half day Hanoi city tour to visit the most attractions of Hanoi: Hoan Kiem lake, Old quarter streets, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. The day end with a traditional cultural show of Vietnam: Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 9: Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc – Hanoi (B, L)
Drive through rural northern Vietnam to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam to visit the Temples of King Dinh & Le. Take the sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Three Caves. In the afternoon, go back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay. Upon arrival at Halong city, you will embark in the sailing boat cruising round the around islets, caves and grottos on Halong bay. While cruising, enjoy your lunch on board. In the afternoon, take a short excursion visit Sung Sot grotto and short swim (if weather permitted). Drive back to Hanoi for farewell dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Hanoi Departure (B)
Take free time until transfer to airport for your own departure flight.
