in Ho Chi Minh City or exploring the beautiful lakes and boulevards of
Hanoi - and what better way to get to know the locals than to be their
guests in a Mekong Delta homestay? Experience historical temples,
spectacular scenery, delicious banquets and lively cities all with a
touch of comfort on this 15-day adventure.
Intinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Our tour guide will greet you at the airport and then transfer to your hotel. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Take a full day city tour including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, his house on stills, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, after lunch, continue to visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology then enjoy 1 hour rickshaw tour in the Old Quarter and the Restored Sword Lake. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Depart for Halong Bay, enjoying the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields. Upon arrival, board a traditional wooden Junk to discover the legendary Halong Bay. Enjoy full board meals and many indoor and outdoor activities. Overnight onboard.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi & Flight to Hue (B)
Join a Tai Chi session, enjoy an international breakfast while the boat cruises among hundreds of islets before coming back to the pier. Drive back to the airport for your flight to Hue. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue, the Ancient Imperial Capital (B, L)
Enjoy a full day tour in the Former Imperial Capital of Hue. A boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Mausoleum of former Emperor Minh Mang. After lunch time, visit the elaborate tomb of King Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Hoi An, the Old Town & Port (B)
Leave Hue for Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries. In the afternoon, walking through the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An – My Son, the Holy land & back to Hoi An (B, L)
A half day trip to My Son, visit the museum and the holy site, then head back to Hoi An. After lunch, enjoy cycling tour in rural area of Hoi An with visits to some of traditional villages. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An – Nha Trang via Da Nang (B)
In the Morning, take free time to enjoy beach until transfer to airport for flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in and free in the afternoon for enjoy beach. Overnight in Nha Trang City
Day 9: Nha Trang Beach Tour (B, L)
In the morning, have a boat trip cruising on the Nha Trang Bay to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. Then continue the trip to Mun Island - the best island for snorkeling with lots of colorful corals and fish. Take a fresh Lunch at the Con Se Tre island before back to Resort. Free in the Afternoon. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 10: Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
In the Morning, take free time to enjoy beach until transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang City.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L)
In the Morning, you will visit the main sights including the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace and the famous Ben Thanh Market. After lunch, drive to Cu Chi district (75km from HCMC) to visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Depart to Mekong Delta for a visit of the Floating Market and Countryside Tour. Boat cruise to the colorful floating market of Cai Be and then followed by a visit to some local factories that produce rice paper and coconut candy. Lunch is served at a fruit orchard before going back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Free until transfer to the airport for departure flight.
